Trading

Account Types

Orbex has five account types.

• VIP Account: This account type is ideal for professional traders who want to lower their transaction costs. The minimum deposit is $25,000 with low spreads at 0.8 pips. ECN accounts are tailored for professional, and institutional traders who wish to trade in high volumes but at lower fees and tighter spreads.
• Islamic Account: This Swap Free Universal Type account is for traders who follow strict sharia laws of no “RIBA”. The minimum deposit to start trading is $500. Orbex also has a demo account for novice traders who want to test and feel the trading platform before making a decision on whether to invest with them.

Commissions and Spreads

As shown in the previous paragraph, Orbex offers competitive spreads which have a minimum for each account type. Traders are advised to exercise caution when trading on margins, as higher leverage involves more risks or losses which sometimes may exceed the initial investment.

Deposits and Withdrawals

This broker supports standard deposit methods which include credit/debit cards, Skrill, CashU, Neteller, FasaPay, WebMoney and bank wire transfers. There are no deposit fees (except on some bank wire transfers). Funds reflect on the traders’ account within two hours. Withdrawals can take 24 hours on business days but the processing time for bank wire may differ. Forex rules across board require all clients to have their internationally accepted identity documents on file before submitting a request.
